Freiburg/Breisach, 06.03.2024 (PresseBox) - The Pinot and Rock Festival in Breisach, which is delighting its visitors this year with a mixture of outstanding music and regional delicacies, is looking forward to the next step in the current Talent Contest. After an overwhelming application phase with over 100 musicians, the competition is entering the next selection phase.
The expert jury - Karola Mohr (Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg), Peter Disch (Badische Zeitung), Prof. Dr. Ludwig Holtmeier (Musikhochschule Freiburg), Maximilian Messerle (GEMA) and Fritz Keller from Pinot and Rock - has selected 30 talents from the many applications for the next round. Now the fans are being called upon to make the next decisions. From March 21 to April 14, 2024, the festival will open its digital doors and invites all music lovers to visit the festival website to get their own impression of the talents up for selection. Online voting can be used to actively decide who makes it through. Every vote cast brings the candidates one step closer to their dream of performing at the Pinot and Rock Festival. Half of the 30 talents will make it to the final and decisive round.
Expertise and passion in the final round
This final round will also be decided by the five-member expert jury. Not only the musical talent, but also the stage presence and potential of the artists will be assessed in detail. On April 26, the top 3 will be announced, who will have the honor of performing at the festival alongside the Scorpions and Alice Cooper, and will also have the opportunity to talk backstage with the other established festival bands and connoisseurs of the scene.
The Pinot and Rock Festival is characterized by great music and exquisite enjoyment. First-class cuisine meets excellent regional wines. Visitors can look forward to Peter Fox and Alli Neumann (Thu 04.07.), Die Fantastischen Vier and Milky Chance (Fri 05.07.), Scorpions and Alice Cooper (Sat 06.07.) as well as Sarah Connor, Nico Santos and Joris (Sun 07.07.).
