(Freiburg, October 7, 2018) Reservix GmbH is the new ticketing partner for the 35th European Baseball Championship, which will be held in Germany from September 6 to 15, 2019. The games will be played in the modernized stadiums of the Bonn Capitals and Solingen Alligators. Together with the German Baseball and Softball Federation (DBV), both clubs are once again co-hosts of the European Championship after 2001. In coordination with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the European Baseball Confederation (CEB), the tournament will be part of the qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The Netherlands (defending champions), Belgium, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Croatia, Sweden, Spain, and Czechia, the top ten teams from the 2016 European Championship, have already qualified for the 2019 European Baseball Championship. They will be joined by Austria, who have been promoted, and another qualifier, which will be decided in early summer 2019.
