Munich (December 3, 2025) – The world's largest fan exhibition, "The Fans Strike Back," has been running at Pineapple Mark Munich since November 18, 2025, and continues to thrill visitors. The exhibition now presents a special highlight: the exclusive screening of the elaborately produced fan film "Darkest Hour." Tickets for "The Fans Strike Back" are available exclusively through Reservix.
What began as a small creative project developed into a full-fledged movie adventure: five years ago, a group of 30 passionate Star Wars fans started an extraordinary heart project by purchasing a 3D printer. The first coronavirus lockdown brought time - and the perfect opportunity to realize their lifelong dream of starring in a Star Wars film themselves.
Gradually, detailed backdrops were created using a 3D printer, costumes were sewn by hand and even a soundtrack was composed. The result: a fan film that is not only visually impressive, but also narrative.
About the movie "Darkest Hour"
The film takes place between episodes III and IV and poses the question: "If Luke Skywalker was only able to defeat the Empire after 20 years of tyranny, weren't there countless attempts to assassinate Darth Vader before that?"
Inspired by historical events such as the Stauffenberg assassination, "Darkest Hour" transfers this motif to a galaxy far, far away.
While there have been countless unsuccessful attempts to assassinate dictators in real life, the focus here is on the most famous fictional tyrant in film history: Darth Vader, responsible for the destruction of entire planets.
