Freiburg, 20.06.2023 (PresseBox) - Next Thursday, June 22, 2023, 8:30 p.m., Elliot Page will present his autobiography "Pageboy. My story". The eagerly awaited German premiere has been sold out for weeks. In cooperation with the organizer Literatur Live, the Fischer publishers, the Thalia bookstore and Kino International, Reservix is offering an exclusive live stream of the event from 10 euros. The conversation between Elliot Page and presenter Marie-Christine Knop will be held in English (with translation into German). The reading with Mark Waschke will be in German. Streaming tickets are only available from Reservix.

In his autobiography, Page tells a poignant and unembellished story of his long journey to finding himself. Elliot Page captivated the world with his leading role in "Juno". In his first book, he finally tells his truth: about growing up in the Canadian port city of Halifax, about growing up in Hollywood obsessed with traditional gender roles. About sex, love, trauma and seemingly fantastic successes. "Pageboy" is the story of a life pushed to the edge of the abyss - and a celebration of the moment when, free from the expectations of others, we face ourselves with defiance, courage and joy.

Elliot Page, born in 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, is one of Hollywood's best-known actors. He made his international breakthrough in 2006 with his role in "X-Men. The Last Stand" in 2006, and in 2008 he was nominated for an Oscar for his leading role in "Juno". He can currently be seen in the Netflix series "The Umbrella Academy". He lives in Toronto and New York City.
