IKF 2025: Culture, encounters & a special Reservix event
Culture unites - this was not only demonstrated by the International Kulturbörse Freiburg 2025, but also by the first Reservix Get-together in the south! We take a look at the most exciting impressions of the fair and share the highlights from three days of the fair and a brand new Reservix event in the aftermovie.

A home game of a special kind: In January, the Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg (IKF) opened its doors - an industry get-together that almost feels like a family reunion for Reservix, with its roots in Freiburg. Here we meet long-standing partners, make promising new contacts and experience an inspiring atmosphere full of enthusiasm and exchange. Curious? Click here for the aftermovie.
Culture Connects People - the IKF 2025
The IKF, organized by "Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe", is the largest trade fair in the German-speaking world for stage productions, music and events. The special feature: Artists and ensembles present live excerpts from their current programs to the trade audience. This year, over 450 artists took to the stage! The spectrum ranged from theater, variety and gala, cabaret & comedy, jazz, pop & rock and a capella to dance & performances, cabaret and street theater.
The impressive program was complemented by exhibitions, installations and a range of workshops and talks. Around 300 exhibitors and more than 3000 trade visitors attended 2025!
The trade audience of organizers, agencies, event professionals, producers and producers in particular makes the IKF an important platform for creative exchange. The motto of the trade fair, "Culture Connects People", symbolizes this claim and creates space for personal encounters.
New concept, new status
Reservix also presented itself at the IKF as a platform for bringing people together - with a new, open, modern stand concept that invited visitors to linger and network in a familiar location right at the entrance. For three days, people talked, discussed and made plans for the future. The open and relaxed atmosphere, a coffee or two and the smell of popcorn made it easy to talk to both existing customers and potential new partners.

One thing became clear: event organizers need more than just ticketing software - they need smart solutions for the entire customer journey. From simple seat selection to smooth admission, guests expect convenience and flexibility. Self-service options not only reduce support requests, but also increase customer satisfaction.
More tickets, less effort?
In addition to the question of how to reduce their own ticketing costs, the central issue for all event organizers is of course how to sell more tickets. In addition to social media marketing and email campaigns, there was a lot of talk about the additional reach of our ticket portals Reservix.de and ADticket.de or the interfaces to external reach amplifiers. The key is to make optimum use of all sales channels.

And: it's about using data cleverly instead of just collecting it. Whether heat maps for venue plan optimization or geovisualizations for buyer analyses - the key lies in the correct interpretation of data. We advise on how to derive concrete measures from pure figures in order to sell more tickets. Audience development is the keyword here, e.g. to turn one-time visitors into repeat visitors.
It was precisely these topics that were the focus of our discussions at the trade fair. The exchange with event organizers showed how great the interest in innovative approaches is - and how valuable it is to develop new strategies together. The direct contact between our customers also has great added value - they can meet at eye level at the stand, share practical experiences and pass on helpful tips.
"The figures speak for themselves!" summarizes Michael, who is responsible for sales at the trade fair. "We were able to hold several hundred talks in total, both with existing customers and potential new customers. Many accepted our invitation - even from the far north! This response underlines our growth as well as the importance of our long-standing presence at the IKF."
Premiere: Our get-together
A special highlight was our first get-together on the second day of the trade fair. The idea: an informal setting for personal exchange away from the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. Around 170 guests accepted the invitation to the Freiburg café-bar "Fili" - over pizza and drinks, people networked, laughed and talked about joint projects until midnight. The relaxed atmosphere was very well received and followed on from the success of the legendary Reservix reception at the Reeperbahn Festival festival.
The guided tour, which sales colleagues Justus and Michael offered to all guests who had traveled a long way, was particularly well received. The "Fili" not only impresses with its Italian charm and central location in the center of Freiburg - the Reservix office is also right next door.
A complete success - and lots of anticipation for what's to come
The unanimous conclusion: IKF 2025 was a complete success! The positive feedback from customers and partners confirms that both our new trade fair stand and the get-together struck the right chord. We were able to present ourselves as a strong brand and bring Reservix to life. Or, to put it in Michael's words:
"The Kulturbörse was great! Our stand concept was very well received, we made valuable contacts and the get-together was an absolute highlight. We definitely want to do it again."

With these impressions and valuable feedback in our luggage, we are now moving forward full of energy. The IKF and our event have once again shown how important personal exchange is for advancing the industry - and that Freiburg will always remain something special for us as a location.
