Three months, many encounters: Onboarding at Reservix
Ben reports on his onboarding: site visits, practical training and personal encounters helped him to settle in quickly at Reservix - both professionally and personally. An experience report about arriving in a dynamic working environment.
How new employees arrive at Reservix
For many people, starting at a new company is associated with excitement: new processes, new colleagues, new expectations. At Reservix this phase begins with a particularly well thought-out onboarding process. Within the first three months, almost all new employees go through a structured structured programthat not only imparts specialist knowledge, but also promotes personal encounters - across all locations, with a practical focus and room for orientation.
So also with Ben. He works in the Reservix sales team in Düsseldorf, where he is responsible for acquiring promoters in North Rhine-Westphalia. This means that he is regularly on the road, meets potential promoters on site, introduces them to the Reservix system and accompanies them on the path to cooperation.
Before Ben was able to take off in this role, he spent the first few months getting to know the company from the ground up - through training, site visits and direct insights into various teams. His onboarding provides an exemplary insight into the way in which new employees are integrated into the company.
So now it's time to turn on the lights and raise the curtain! The stage is yours, Ben!
A successful start in Frankfurt
My first week at Reservix didn't start at my future workplace in Düsseldorf, but in Frankfurt - one of the company's main locations. When I got off the ICE train at Frankfurt Central Station, my team leader and a colleague were already waiting for me. This small gesture immediately made me feel welcome.
On the very first day I took part in the welcome day together with other new colleagues, the HR team and Katrin, a member of the management team. The fact that the management personally takes time to welcome new employees is not something that can be taken for granted - and it really impressed me.
After a relaxed round of introductions and lunch together, we continued with the so-called house tour. Within a few hours, we visited every department in the Frankfurt office, introduced ourselves countless times and got to know a large number of faces. It was intense, no doubt about it - but also incredibly helpful in finding your way around later.
We ended the evening together at the wine stand in the Bahnhofsviertel. I was glad that one of the ficompany's own apartments only five minutes away from the office. After this eventful day, I fell into bed tired but very satisfied.
Structured training and initial professional insights

The next few days were all about familiarization. We received our technical equipment and took part in the first training sessions training sessions. I got to know the internal systems and programs that play a central role in our day-to-day work - from event management to company-wide communication processes.
An after-work session in the in-house "Stage Café" rounded off this first week perfectly. I got to know other colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere and the conversations gave me a real impression of how informal the atmosphere is at Reservix.
Four weeks in the organizer service: The perfect start
After my first week, I moved on to the event organizer service - or "Service" for short. This team looks after a large number of event organizers who work with Reservix. Here they receive support in setting up their events, using the system and answering questions about ticketing. I worked there for four weeks and was able to build up a lot of knowledge during this time. I learned how to create events, configure tickets and solve typical use cases.
The working environment I liked it: modern open-plan offices, electrically height-adjustable desks, free soft drinks - little things that make everyday life more pleasant. But what counts even more: There was an open, helpful atmosphere. You could tell that people enjoy working together here. After work, small groups often formed to do something together - whether it was going to the movies or having a drink on the Main. This made it easy for me to make friends in Frankfurt too.
A real highlight was lunch together on the roof terrace - cooked by our Feelgood Manager Sandro. The vegan bowl in the sunshine with a view over the city is not just a culinary memory.
On the road with Reservix - between Hamburg and Frankfurt
After the service, things got exciting again: I was able to get to know Team North, which is based in Hamburg and Oldenburg. It was my first time in Hamburg - so it was even nicer to experience this as part of my job. Together with the team, we had lunch at the Markthalle Altona, took a walk along the Reeperbahn and to the Landungsbrücke.
In Oldenburg, I was taken along to the local film festival - my first professional event there. There I not only got to know the team better, but also met an event organizer and set up a subscription ticket printer on site. These experiences showed me how varied and practical working at Reservix is - and how important it is to get to know the event organizers personally.

Back in Frankfurt - insight into customer service
Back in Frankfurt, I spent a few days in the customer service department. This is where all inquiries from ticket buyers come together: by phone, email or via the contact form. The colleagues deal with a large number of inquiries every day - from simple queries to more complex requests.
I was impressed by the professionalism and patience with which the team works. This area gave me a completely new perspective on the company - namely the viewpoint of the end customers.
At the weekends, I was free to decide whether to stay in Frankfurt or travel to Düsseldorf. The company apartment was still available to me - that gave me the flexibility I needed during this intensive time.
Arriving at work - and beyond
After these weeks, it was clear to me that I had not only developed professionally, but also found my way into the company very quickly on a personal level. Onboarding at Reservix is not just an induction program - it's a real door opener to the corporate culture. You gain a comprehensive understanding of the product, the structures and - above all - the people you work with.
What I particularly appreciate: Even after onboarding, there are many opportunities for further development. A few weeks ago, we took part in a workshop on feedback as a team - led by an external coach. It wasn't just about the professional context, but also about personal communication. Offers like this show me that at Reservix, not only professional but also personal development plays a role.
Conclusion: An introduction that connects

When I look back on my first few months at Reservix today, I am grateful for this intensive and varied time. The induction was structured, well thought out and characterized by a genuine interest in new colleagues. I got to know people from different locations and departments, built up my network and developed a deep understanding of our work in ticketing.
I've arrived - in the job, in the team, in the company. And I'm looking forward to what lies ahead.
